Join the OMAFRA Soil Team and Upper Thames River conservation Authority on Wednesday August 22nd for a hands-on day of learning about soil management. The day will include soil pits, a strip till demo, in-field soil heath assessment, information on erosion control and more! CEU credits for Soil and Water Management will be available.
The day starts and ends at Wildwood Conservation Area Visitor Centre, Saint Marys, ON. In-field activities will take place near Brooksdale, Oxford County. Bus transportation and lunch will be provided.

Biosecurity Workshop - Poultry - Woodstock

The GRCA is hosting a “Managing Trees on your Property” workshop. Forestry staff and other experts will speak on topics such as forest health, diseases, hazard trees, pollinators, management plants, funding opportunities and backyard maple production with optional outdoor demonstrations. The free day-long event for landowners will take place Saturday March 3, from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the GRCA head office, 400 Clyde Rd., Cambridge. Participation is free and a light lunch is included.
The BSCIA's AGM will be held on Thursday January 11, 2018 at the Burford Agricultural Society.
